Visioning 2032: Videos of a Sustainable Future Melbourne

Austlalian Victorian Eco Innovation Lab (VEIL) published a series of animated films from students and staff from Austlalian Universities, as well as from Melbourne design professionals. These films are a glimpse of a potential sustainable future for the city of Melbourne.

Each film presents a different area of sustainable design innovation. These include new infrastructure schemes for water, food, energy and public transport, along with innovative design strategies for suburban development and new local employment opportunities.

    That’d be the perfect community, wouldn’t it?

    The sad part is that political interests always come in front of everything and the environment just can wait.

    But nice future view, and the good news are that they are all viable in long terms.
