GEGOT: Geography and PPP

Posted by Nicos Komninos at 29 October 2012 in Innovative Cities & Regions

The Center of Studies on Geography and Spatial Planning (CEGOT) promotes the investigation and debate around various areas of Geography and at the intersection with diverse scientific disciplines, on themes that serve as a reference for the groups in which it is structured: Nature and environmental dynamics; Cities, competitiveness, and well-being and Cultural landscapes, tourism and development.

As part of its mission, CEGOT organizes its 1st International Meeting “Geography & PPP” (Geography & Politics, Policies and Planning) that will take place from the 3rd to the 5th March 2013.

The meeting will take place in the city of Porto and is structured in three formats: conferences, round tables and presentations (see poster and program).

The organisers invite all that are interested in these themes to participate, asking for submission of abstracts until the 15th November. For further information (including the registration and abstract submission forms) please visit the conference website at www.cegot.pt or contact [email protected]

The program is at GEGOT 1st Meeting
