cope-te logoCOPE is a relevant centre for local, provincial, regional dissemination of information and services; operates as laboratory for EU citizenship, focused on economic issues, through scientific-technological research programs, technical testing, management techniques. It collaborates with Teramo University, Municipality of Teramo and Province of Teramo guaranteeing coordinated management of students’ mobility, and realizing projects on economic development and promotion of researches to increase productivity in economic sectors, thus disseminating the so-called “European culture”.

COPE offers technical-scientific assistance to local communities in the creation of enterprises; for feasibility studies, localization of initiatives; in the research/identification of markets, innovation management, access to funds. It also offers professional/vocational training to public and private bodies and supports employment. It collaborates with the Municipality of Teramo in administrating the official European Commission Centre of information called Europe Direct Teramo and managing EU projects as follows:

  • IPA ADRIATIC CBC PROGRAMME 2007 – 2013: “A.C.T” – development of city transportation.
  • INTERREG IV B SEE: “Parks and Markets” – system of quality labeling and “ViTo” – cultural and historical city valorisation.

COPE Teramo Consortium has also a stable collaboration with the company METRON srl, which possesses a over 10-year experience in drafting and managing EU projects.
