Kaunas University of Technology Regional Business Incubator has extensive experience in supporting innovative technology-oriented start-up companies and SMEs in Lithuania. KTC's services include, technical-administrative support, business and technology transfer, organisation of specialized workshops, international brokerage events and conferences and scientific support (access to laboratories of Kaunas University of Technology). KTC, the first business incubator in Lithuania, provides a favourable business environment with access to high-speed internet, office equipment and conference rooms. KTC now provides more than 3000 sq. m. for innovative and technology-oltriented start-ups that mainly are spin-offs from universities. KTC maintains very close contacts with regional SMEs and also participates in a number regional / national business networks (Union of Business Centres, Kaunas Chamber of Industry Commerce and Crafts and Business Support Network). KTC has implemented and is participating as a partner in a number projects under national and EU programmes, related to innovation and regional development: I3 - Innovation and Incubation Initiative, PRO INNO, INNO-PRO, FOODLINK, FINESSE, EVI, PASTRE, EPEC and others.
