The management of the Regional Technology Plan is based on two bodies:

The Steering Committee and
The Management Unit.

The Steering Committee is composed by representatives from the public administration, the private sector, and the academic community. This committee oversees the whole operation and guarantees its success, assuring a regional consensus among the actors involved.

A representative from the General Confederation of Greek Workers, Macedonian Labour Institute (Mr K. Pangarliotas and Mr P. Avramopoulos)
A representative from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki(Mr I. Tsoukalas and Mr I. Tzekakis)
A representative from the University of Macedonia(Mr L. Lambrianidis)
A representative from the Technology Park of Thessaloniki(Mr I. Vasalos and Mr G. Vakaros)

The Management Unit provides the day-to-day work for the project, launches the necessary studies, and supports technically the orientations from the Steering Committee. Members of the management unit are:

Nicos Komninos, associate professor and director of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Development, School of Engineering, AUT, head of the Unit.
Grigoris Kafkalas, associate professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Development, School of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
Lina Kyrgiafini, chemical engineer, for the technical and administrative support of the Unit.
