1. PROJECT GOALS


The project is addressed to small and medium sized firms in Central Macedonia and is designed to improve their capacity for innovation and for technology research and development. Specifically, it is designed to:

Increase the number of employees in R&TD positions
Create in-house R &TD departments
Increase spending on R&TD

2. RTP PRIORITY UMBRELLA

Increase funding available to businesses for technology and innovation.

3. SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH THE PROJECT

Funding of firms to increase their capacity for innovation
Contributing to the creation of new in-house posts for scientists and researchers
Contributing to the creation of in-house R&D departments
Contributing to co-operation with research institutes and encouraging assignment of research contracts to consulting firms

4. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Establishing a programme-framework
Proclamation of the programme
Selecting the firms to be included in the programme
Implementation and funding of firms
Monitoring and evaluation of the programme on the level of the recipient firms
