19. ASSOCIATION FOR AUTOMATION SYSTEMS
1. PROJECT GOALS
This project pertains to the creation of an association between private and public sector research units and firms for
the purpose of expanding the market for and use of these technologies by enterprises. Specifically, the goals of this project are to
provide technology services, to demonstrate application to businesses and the public sector, and to create a regional pole in this
technology field.

Automation of installations and modules (CIM)

Systems for optimum use of power consumption

4. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Selection of the research laboratories at the Universities and Technical Institutes, and private firms, based
on their ability to supply technology services
Establishment of a Co-operative or Association as agent of co-operation-promotion
Formation of the administrative body of the new institution
Development and standardisation of the technology services
Promotion of the services provided. Approaches to businesses. Broadening of the regional market for industrial
information systems.
