The eighth Annual Competitiveness Report (ACR) benchmarks Ireland’s performance for 171 key competitiveness indicators against 15 other advanced countries.The ACR notes that Ireland performs well on a wide range of indicators including, attraction of FDI, corporate and personal taxes and rates of entrepreneurship. However, Ireland falls behind in terms of relatively low investment in R&D and education, and a low perception of infrastructural quality.
