Search and Social Media Marketing for International Business
The University of Salford has designed a pilot MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) named “Search and Social Media Marketing for International Business”. This is a free online course that will provide information for businesses who want to gain a better understanding of social media in the workplace and enhance international trade prospects.
The course is based on a collaborative partnership work with eight European countries and our existing students who are looking to better their career prospects. The course consists of twelve videos which will be released daily.
The course combines the latest thinking from academic research as part of the Passport to Trade 2.0 project and commercial insights contributed by 16 digitally savvy professionals who share their experiences and advice in these videos.
This course is widely accessible for everyone, free-of-charge and discusses the following topics:
- Personal branding online
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Use of social media for international business development
- Copywriting online
- Online legal considerations
- Reporting and monitoring online
