The present work for the Smart City Ontology (SCO 2.0) continues the efforts that started in 2015, integrates and re-uses many entities (classes, object properties, data properties) of the initial version, but also has some important differences. The motivation for continuing the work on the smart city ontology has been the interest of the smart city community for an ontology of the smart city, and the many demands that we have received for providing the owl file of the SCO 1.0 to be used in other experiments related to smart cities.

This paper examines and clarifies the basic mechanisms towards the integration of DIY laboratories into R&D networks of the pharmaceutical industry. It explains the interdependent relationship between DIY laboratories, CROs, pharmaceutical firms and venture capitals in an innovation ecosystem.
This study develops an analytical framework for municipal governance of the sharing economy. It comprises five governance mechanisms (regulating, providing, enabling, self-governing and collaborating) and 11 governance roles. The purpose of this article is twofold: to explore municipal governance mechanisms and roles for engaging with sharing economy organisations and to propose a comprehensive analytical framework.
FIWARE, iSHARE and FundingBox launch the i4Trust Initiative to boost data sharing and facilitate SME innovation capability through the creation of data spaces. The EU-funded project, is launching an incubator of trusted B2B data sharing ecosystems of collaborating SMEs connected to Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). The project stimulates sharing, re-using and trading of data assets towards further participation of SMEs in the development of innovative services in different sectors.
