Partners' Profiles

ZENIT, founded 1984, is a public private partnership organisation and the central innovation and technology transfer agency in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany. In its private part ZENIT is acting as an innovation-orientated consulting firm providing consultancy services to corporate and institutional clients in future-orientated fields of technology, innovation management as well as in the field of policy approaches and policy evaluation.

ZENIT's target groups comprise first and foremost industrial enterprises, institutions and public administrations in Germany and other European countries.

ZENIT belongs to the Euro Info Centre network (since 1987). Since 1994 ZENIT is also hosting an Innovation Relay Centre (IRC). The IRC network now covers all EU Member States as well as the accession countries. The main task of the IRC is to facilitate international technology transfer projects.

In addition to that ZENIT can draw from a pool of experience in the field of the organisation and implementation of trans-national seminars, workshops and conferences on behalf of the European Commission, the Federal Government and L?nder governments in Germany.

Thanks to our participation in the EIC and IRC networks we are highly familiar with how the European Commission functions. On behalf of our clients as well as for ourselves we have successfully placed several proposals for financial support under European funding schemes, for example within the RTD framework programmes.
