IntellIoT is a Pan-European Research and Innovation project supported by the European Commission. It is focused on intelligent, autonomous, and human-centered healthcare solutions. With the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, patients with cardiovascular diseases will be treated remotely. The 3-year project also aims to support the rollout of IoT technologies in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors.

Co-Aps is a mobile application used to manage density in public transport and public spaces amid the COVID19 pandemic. Pilots have been implemented in the cities of Barcelona, Istanbul, Sofia and Karditsa.
In order to overcome existing barriers and accelerate the uptake of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) Europe-wide, the European Commission is exploring the idea of developing a common EU-framework for Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicators (SUMI). This publication is analysing the areas that need improvement and the link of SUMP process with the green deal, as well as the ways that data gathering should be approached in cities of different sizes. FIWARE, iSHARE and FundingBox launch the i4Trust Initiative to boost data sharing and facilitate SME innovation capability through the creation of data spaces. The EU-funded project, is launching an incubator of trusted B2B data sharing ecosystems of collaborating SMEs connected to Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). This report presents the results of the European Commission application programming interfaces (APIs) for digital government (APIs4DGov) study, which aims to analyse the role of APIs in the public sector and, specifically, the motivations for their use and the way governments should implement them. This document provides a concrete tool for governments to determine the status of their API strategies and, eventually, how these strategies should be designed or adopted.
The European Commission’s Intelligent Cities Challenge (ICC) has announced the 90 EU cities that have been selected to participate in the 30 months program. ICC participating cities will receive high quality and tailored guidance and expert support, access to advisory and city peer networks (European and international), and capability building tools, to drive priority policy goals and the uptake of advanced technologies.
The EU-funded project “ThinkNature” created a multi-stakeholder communication platform to support the understanding and promotion of Nature-based solutions (NBS) at local, regional, EU and international levels. The platform is an integrated web-based solution that stimulates dialogue and interaction on NBS through discussion forums and debates. The project is led by the Technical University of Crete and executed by a consortium of 17 partners originating from 8 countries across Europe.
